One Service. One Summer. One Family.

From the earliest days of ministry, one thing every clergy mentor I've ever had agreed on was the surest way to get yourself into trouble as a pastor was to mess with your congregation's worship time.

Well, let's see if I can get into what John Lewis used to call "good trouble." It's good, because I believe the reasons are good.

So, with good reason, I want to announce that beginning on Sunday, May 24th (Memorial Day weekend), Wesley UMC will be shifting to the following Summer Worship schedule for 13 weeks through Sunday, August 16th. We will resume our regular worship schedule on August 23rd.

The Summer Worship Schedule will be as follows:
- ONE worship service at 9:00am
- Coffee fellowship at 10am
- Sunday School at 10:15am

The Church Council, Staff Parish Relations Committee, Worship Committee, and our staff have all been consulted and have agreed to the summer schedule.

You will find an attached document detailing the worship schedule, plan, and good reasons for the summer schedule change.
