We are now signing up volunteers to work. Please volunteer to work at the work sites, in the kitchen, or on the prayer team. Sign up in church during the month of May or use the forms at the bottom of this page. Many hands make light work!
People who are affiliated with Wesley Church have a new opportunity to receive or provide help with simple home repairs or yard work. The types of work that could be done include; repairing steps or decks, cleaning – windows, gutters, garages, painting or staining, trimming hedges or small trees & power washing.
Jobs will be reviewed and selected based on the necessity of the work requested and inability of the homeowner to get the work done. We cannot do repair work on rental property. Applications are due in the church office Friday, April 28. Pick up a form in the atrium or call the church office at 309-833-2153 to request a form.
Wesley Servant Days are a great way to get to know our church community. There are opportunities for people of all ages to help. Besides doing the physical labor, we need people to pray before and during a two-day event and people to help make lunches for the workers. Volunteer sign up will begin on Sunday, May 7.
Wesley Church is no longer doing Streaming Waters Work Week. If anyone who is not affiliated with our church asks you about it, please suggest they call Darren at WIRC, 309-837-2997. A new grant to provide money for Macomb homeowners will be available soon.
