Barakah-ONG Orphanage Construction Update

Pastor Melly’s vision for building an orphanage in the Democratic Republic of Congo is quickly becoming a reality! Thanks to the hard work of many and the generous support of faithful partners, construction has made remarkable progress over the past year.

2024 Highlights:

• July–October: The foundation was laid, and the outer walls were completed.
• August: Running water was installed—a major milestone!
• November: Window and door frames were added, preparing the building for the next stages of construction.
• 2025 Progress:
• March: The roof was completed, marking another big step forward.
• May: Plumbing, electrical work, and plastering of the interior and exterior walls have been underway, bringing the building closer to being ready for use.

This orphanage will soon become a safe and nurturing home for vulnerable children, thanks to the dedication of Pastor Melly and the support of compassionate individuals like you.
