At Wesley United Methodist Church, we are called to serve others and share God’s love through meaningful mission work. Our missions span locally, nationally, and worldwide, combining financial contributions and hands-on involvement to make a lasting impact. Whether through direct action in our community or supporting efforts across the globe, we strive to be the hands and feet of Christ, offering hope and assistance where it’s needed most.
- Local Missions: We partner with organizations like the Salvation Army, Loaves & Fishes, Habitat for Humanity of McDonough County, and the Good Food Collaborative to address needs in our community. From feeding the hungry to building homes, we strive to make a difference right here at home.
- National Missions: Through United Methodist initiatives and disaster relief programs, we lend a helping hand to communities across the country, offering hope and assistance during times of crisis.
- Worldwide Missions: We support global efforts to fight poverty, provide clean water, improve education, and share the Gospel through our connectional United Methodist Church mission programs.

Help Us Provide Hunger Relief
We are continuing our increased numbers this year with a goal to pack 1,000 rice meal kits—double what we’ve done in the past! These meal packs will provide food for 6,000 people in need, and we need your help to make it happen. Each kit includes a mix of protein/vitamin powder, dehydrated vegetables, soy flour, and white rice, and will be assembled for the Midwest Mission Distribution Center, which distributes these meals to countries in need around the world.
