The Wesley Christian Child Development Center is a trusted ministry of Wesley United Methodist Church, offering quality care and education for children in a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment. Serving families in the Macomb area, the center is committed to providing age-appropriate learning experiences that promote spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. With dedicated staff and a Christ-centered approach, the center strives to foster a love for learning and a sense of belonging in every child.
Classroom Highlights
Each classroom enjoys daily gross motor time outdoors or in our Big Hall:
  • Infant Room: Individual cribs, iron-fortified formula provided, naps follow each baby's personal schedule. Parents provide diapers and wipes.
  • Toddler Room: Free play, engaging activities, and a scheduled nap time.
  • Two-Year-Old Room : Free play and potty training.
  • Preschool Program: Christian-based curriculum with structured learning.

Room Ratios
We maintain low teacher-to-child ratios to ensure quality care:
  • Infants (Room 1): 1 teacher per 4 children
  • Toddlers (Room 2): 1 teacher per 5 children
  • Two-Year-Olds (Room 5): 1 teacher per 8 children
  • Three-Year-Olds (Room 3): 1 teacher per 10 children
  • Four & Five-Year-Olds (Room 4): 1 teacher per 10 children
  • School Age (Room 8): 1 teacher per 20 children

If your child is enrolled, you will need to complete a detailed second application, sign a tuition contract, and furnish a medical form from your doctor with a recent physical and immunization records.

Placement on the waitlist is not continuous. One year from the date of the application, the child's name will be removed from the waitlist. If you would like your child to remain on the waitlist, you must fill out a new application.
