What if being a “zero” isn’t about having no value—but about adding value without needing anything in return?

In Matthew 16, Jesus challenges his disciples to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow him. Sometimes following Jesus means stepping out of the center of the story and making room for others. Like a zero beside another number, we can bring value—not by seeking attention or recognition, but by serving, encouraging, and giving of ourselves.
