Visiting a new church can be pretty intimidating. We've all been there. This page has been designed to help you learn more about what to expect when you visit Wesley UMC.

You will find many different kinds of people on different parts of their faith journey at our church. Whether you’re new to church and faith, or a longtime Jesus-follower, you will be loved and welcome.

Where We Are Located

We are located at 1212 W. Calhoun St., Macomb IL right across West Adams Road from Western Illinois University

What to Expect

Parking - For your first visit you will want to park in the upper lot for easier access to the worship space.
Entering the building - There are 2 entrances in the front of the building and one entrance through the lower lot. The main entrance is under the portico and you will enter the atrium. The red doors lead right into the sanctuary. You will be greeted at both of the front doors. Please feel free to ask questions. There is also an entrance at the lower level.
Kids - Kids are welcome in all of our worship services. If you are interested in Nursery care, Children's Church, or Sunday School, stop in the atrium and talk to a greeter. Find more information about kids ministry HERE.
What to wear - There is no dress code at Wesley UMC. Wear what makes you feel comfortable.
Offering - We do take an offering during our services, but do not feel obligated to give. Offering is a way that those who have connected to Wesley UMC respond to God and join the mission of the church.
Communion - The first Sunday of the month we celebrate communion. All are welcome at the Lord's table
